The Mobilities

 

The mobilities are aimed at sharing the outcomes of the project and planning future work and research in order to set common procedures. We also made the most of these mobilities in order to get to know our countries and cultures and team building, trying to knock down our borders.

The Spanish Meeting
from 31st March to 5th April 2014
Spanish meeting

Partnership project  is cooperation between schools from different countries of the European Union. Its effect is primarily the exchange of experience and learning from each other. The first meeting within the ongoing project was held in Albacete – picturesque city in South-Eastern Spain, in the region of Castilla-La Mancha. Programme of the five-days visit was very interesting and closely linked to the themes of the project. On the first day guests were greeted by Francisco Linares Valcarel –  headmaster of Spanish school. Official part consisted of presentations of schools and films created within the project. Consecutive days in Spain went by very quickly, because they were filled with numerous attractions, which will remain forever in our memory. Students participated in workshops, they visited the Museum of knives, and could observe how the traditional ceramics and beautiful lace are created. The last point of the programme was a trip to the beautiful Altea. Its surroundings consist of old but still full of the charm narrow streets and numerous monuments. In addition to the cultural relics there are many places to encourage relaxation and rest. Daily activities aimed not only to the integration of the group but also the possibility of the practical using of foreign languages and knowing cultures and traditions prevailing in the different country.

The Hungarian
Meeting
from 5th to 11th May 2014
Hungarian Meeting

After the meeting in Spain, it’s time for another trip to Eger in Hungary. Once again, after the work associated with the project, students had the opportunity to visit, enjoy the Hungarian cuisine and even dance the Hungarian national music. During the week the participants visited the Museum of lace, Dolls Museum and the Church of St. Martin. Guests wandered around the green glen and the culmination of a difficult trip was the visit to the cave of prehistoric man. Organisers offered a walk among the Chambers of the castle in Eger and amazing exhibitions of paintings, whose authors are known not only in Europe but all over the world. Sightseeing the underground Museum of torture sent shivers up and down their spine. Admiration of the city and walking through promenade in the Centre of Eger provided many unforgettable memories and a short stay in Budapest invited everyone to return to Hungary in the near future.

The Turkish Meeting
from 2nd to 9th November 2014
Turkish Meeting

The working meeting in Turkish city Kahramanmaras took place during weekdays. On the first day, 3rd November 2014 there was the official opening meeting. In the morning session, the whole school listened to 5 partner countries’ national anthems. Hüseyin SAYIN , the principle welcomed all of us and  Ãœmmü KARAOÄžLAN presented the programme for the whole week. After that Turkish students performed a music show with cups. It was fantastic and unforgettable. After tasting Turkish coffee and Kahramanmaras dishes the videos were provided by students from all partner countries. They were about handicrafts but there was also a surprise preared by Turkish students, the welcoming presentation about  the project. It made us laugh. In the afternoon  session 5 partner countries went to the grandbazaar to have an experience of some handicrafts workshop. The masters gave information about leather  shoemaking and wood carving. On Tuesday there was one day trip to Kapadokya. It was provided by a travel agency with a tour guide. In the morning the whole group visited Kaymakli  underground city and Pigeon Valley.  After lunch at Avanos UranosRestaurant, participants  went to a wine Cellar, Üçgüzeller Rocksand and at the end Cappadoccia Underground Ceramic Museum. It was an amazing trip and there are many spectacular pictures taken by students and teachers. On Wednesday there was interactive workshop about silver-thread at the Vocational High School for girls. The teachers presented their work in their virtual museum at school. They pointed out that they carried out  a LLP project. The programme ended with a question and answer session. After that, we all visited the castle in Kahramanmaras. After lunch all the participants attended  a workshop about gold jewellery production. Then they visited the jewellery shops. We were given information about the importance of  gold production in Kahramanmaras. It is the second largest city to produce gold in Turkey. On Thursday there was one day trip to Gaziantep. The morning session started with Zeugma Mosaic Museum and ended with Game and Toy museum. Then there was a short visit to the grandbazaar and the trip ended with the Zoo visit. The last day was a hard-workind day. There was a workshop meeting for the next steps and action points when all details were discussed. After meeting all participants visited Abdulhamithan Mosque during praying time on midday. In the evening, there was a Turkish night. We all had fun with a  folk dance group, reed flute player with a whirling dervish and live music. At the weekend all guests left Turkey but unforgettable impressions and the wonderful memories were taken with them to Italy, Spain, Hungary and Poland.

The Italian Meeting
from 20th to 26th January 2015
Italian Meeting

The fourth meeting of students and teachers involved in Comenius project was in January. This time Italy was the host country. Students went on a trip to the Italian town of Galatina, which turned out to be a place full of charm. Filled with Baroque buildings, narrow cobblestone roads seemed to be the village reassigned from the past. Walks in the midst of this remarkable landscape provided great moments. The first night in Galatina welcomed guests with the storm, rain and thunder but next days were filled with typically sunny weather. Our hosts took care of an interesting programme full of workshops, trips and sightseeing of the most beautiful places in the area. Participants had the opportunity to get to know the local handcraft workshops, they could look at and help in the production of traditional Italian bread and taste the real Italian pizza. The coordinators took visitors to Lecce, where they visited the Castle. the Cathedral and the underground mill of olive oil. The visit of Salento and scenic journey along the seafront made on them the biggest impression. Hospitality and warmth of the Italian families has created a wonderful atmosphere and made us feel at home.

The Polish Meeting
from 25th to 31st May 2015
Polish Meeting

During the last week of May 2015 there was the final meeting when all the results of the project were presented. On the first day there  was the official welcome meeting at Zespol Szkol nr 1 in Laskarzew. Polish students and their teachers prepared wonderful performance and national dances from all partners’ countries. Students sang beautiful songs in English and all listened to five national anthems. The headteacher, Mrs Grazyna Salasinska  greeted all guests warmly. After that everybody visited two local companies. During the second and third day there was a wonderful trip to Zakopane and Cracow from which participants got unforgettable impressions. The weather wasn’t as good as it could be expected at the end of May, but  the guests were  enchanted with the view of Polish mountains  and delighted with the magic of Cracow. On the  fourth day guests,  pupils and teachers visited  a local bakery  and the enterprise of cosmetic packaging productions. In the afternoon  there was a formal  summing up meeting. It was a final celebration and there were special guests: mayoress of Laskarzew town, Mrs Maria Sobieska,  local local entrepreneurs, parents and people, who helped carry out  the Comenius project.  During the event the students from Zespol Szkol number 1 in Laskarzew performed unusual Cinderella fairy tale, and the plot was  based on the main content of the Comenius implemented. The author and director of this play is Mrs Nel Leszczyna. Then the final results were  presented. The most important one is  the website designed and updated by one of the students from Laskarzew, Piotr Salasinski.  Another element was a quick overview of all the crafts which were the subject of the project and which have found their place in all partner countries: embroidery, pottery, baskets and shoe production. Mrs. Grazyna SaÅ‚asiÅ„ska gave partners an original folder – a sort of guide to the crafts presented by individual countries during the implementation of the Comenius project. It was also the moment when the leading meeting thanked the local authorities, businesses, friends, parents, students and staff for joint work, support and commitment to the project activities. The culmination of the joint efforts was delicious cake with the logo of the project. After the official part, the participants had a lot of fun during  the disco  party and  while enjoying regional cuisine. On the last day there was a trip to Warsaw, where everyone involved in the project, students, guests and teachers spent their last moments together enjoying the beautiful sunny weather in the capital of Poland. It was great adventure for all, students, parents, teachers and the whole local community.
